Dentists using fog protection against burglary



In recent months, a wave of burglaries has hit dentists throughout Denmark. In many clinics however, they are stopped by fog cannons, which fill the clinic with fog in a matter of seconds in the event of a burglary.

So far, the Danish police are unable to say much about the criminals behind these burglaries. However, they do not believe that the dental equipment stolen from various clinics can be sold in Denmark without other dentists hearing about it. The police therefore suspect that the stolen equipment is being sent to Eastern Europe. However, they do not yet have conclusive proof.

"Fog protection has definitely had a positive effect"

"We have been burgled on several occasions. However, fog protection has definitely had a positive effect," says Lotte from the dental and implant centre Forum Tandlæge- & Implantatcenter in Frederiksberg in the centre of Copenhagen.
