Our fog cannons and fog fluid have been tested and approved by independent testing laboratories all over the world. Authorities widely recommend this type of security system.

We comply with EU legislation on security fog protection

PROTECT is first and foremost a 100% Danish, CE-labelled quality product that complies with all current EU legislation on security fog protection (EN-50131-8) and that is manufactured with ISO 9001:2008 certification.
  
EN-50131-8 is an industry standard which primarily addresses the security of alarm installation contractors and users, alarm installation contractor training, product performance and signs for security fog protection.

PROTECT has achieved the recognized
and valuable CNPP approval

The French accredited laboratory CNPP has implemented a complete test of our fog cannons after the European norm EN 50131-8.

All 3 PROTECT models - 600/1100/2200 - have achieved CLASS 1.
 

In France they are working with 3 different levels depending on the power of the fog cannon:

Class 1: Fill a well-defined 150 M3 room in only 30 seconds
Class 2: Fill a well-defined 150 M3 room in 60 seconds
Class 3: Fill a well-defined 150 M3 room in 120 seconds

CNPP is a certification body in the fields of theft, fire prevention and protection, malicious acts and more recently management systems based on the skills of its laboratories and its own inspection and audit systems.

Tested by laboratories - and burglars - all over the world

Both our fog cannons and our fog fluid have been thoroughly tested prior to EU approval. Independent testing institutes such as the Danish Technological Institute, Delta and Eurofins have found security fog protection from PROTECT to be completely harmless
for humans, animals, fixtures, inventory, IT equipment, machinery and other equipment.

Many laboratories in other countries have also tested and approved our products.

Furthermore, the positive experiences with security fog protection from a wide range of companies and private residences are, in themselves, testimony to this highly effective, yet harmless, method of burglary protection.

Security fog protection rubber-stamped by the policy and insurance industry

Police departments and insurance companies in many countries consider security fog protection an aid in their efforts to fight crime.
Some insurance companies even require security fog protection for certain types of companies and may also require security fog protection if you have experienced repeated burglaries.

One reason why the police recommend security fog protection is that DNA evidence is preserved despite the fact that the crime scene has been filled with fog from a fog cannon. Furthermore, a police dog will have no problems finding a burglar, illegal drugs or explosives in the fog. This has been proven by the experiences of the police as well as the police training exercise which PROTECT A/S hosts.
